ok, i figured. i read a recipe about using undiluted liver of sulfer for a rainbow patina... ill have to see whats up with the two. did you have it heated up? and by chance did you heat up your piece before applying it

No. I add a few drops of LOS to very hot water and then I put a piece inside.
