This piece comes from my collection inspired by a language created by J.R.R. Tolkien as grey elves' language called Sindarin. Each piece is my interpretation of some word from this elven language
. This one is Ithil which means the Moon or "the sheen" when not capitalized.Earrings are made by me from scratch of fine silver, sterling silver and moonstones.
I made them for my friend who will get married this summer on Lughnasadh. She won't be a "classical" bride as this will be a pagan wedding, so earrings are also not like classical bridal jewellery. There will be also a matching pendant and a crown.

Nie, oczywiście, że wszystko ręcznie. Ogólnie jedyne półfabrykaty z jakich korzystam to bigle (ale nie w tym wypadku, no bo są dopasowane do całości kolczyka), jakieś łańcuszki, kółeczka itd.

What do you mean by "how do you have"? I'm not sure if I understand the question properly, but simply, I have many pagan friends and one couple will have a kind of pagan handfasting, because they want to be married "in the eyes of gods" - let's say. They will have they own ceremony designed by their pagan friends (me also) and later after this they will have register office wedding, but that first one is more important to them.

They look very "elvish" (do you say it like that?)... And from the picture i would never have guessed it was a moon stone, it looks more like an "opal"

Well hard to say, because people judge weight of earrings differently. For me these are medium weight earrings, and actually one earring weight is 7,1 grams.
