(ReCreators vs. Monster Island Buddies)

Jet Jaguar render belongs to KaijuConvoy

Yeah looking back, the issue with Re:Creators matchups is that either they have to rely on meta connections, or they just don't have much backstory to work with...although a few can be considered DB material officially per say.

Connections:
Both are guys who are more or less unique takes on the mecha-based character(Rui being more or less a stand-in of mecha-based anime; This version of Jet Jaguar being part of a web series of godzilla toys) who can be happy go lucky optimists(Jet in his usual stage, Rui after staying in the "real world" for a while) although have their moments of depression/emo(Rui more or less not wanting to fight another war; Jet thinking it's his fault Mogera left him, becoming Sweat Jaguar for a bit)
Both have or formally rode mechas before(Rui wih his own mecha, Gigas Machina, and Jet in the comics(while not the same, but still works) rode and control Mechagodzilla/Kiryu for one time, but is still a size-changing robot himself)
Both form a odd friendship with a supposed villain of sorts(Rui with Yuya, who the latter is a last boss villain of sorts, into a bromance; Jet with the MIB gang L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S, who consists of Godzilla's rogues gallery, more so changing them from not killing godzilla)

While not the next creation to appear, it is one I wanted to share before the last recreators mu for now I guess.
