Japanese steam locos are my favorite after British designs. I love the JNR 4-4-0 classes, and the 870, the last British-built class imported. Japan's phase of British-built engines was too short if you ask me.Β

There are several 8620s were shipped to Taiwan and Russia. CT152 is preserved at the Miaoli Railway Museum in Miaoli, Taiwan
