im probably the biggest Dio fan youll ever meet, even met him once, hell of a nice guy. everything he did from Rainbow to Sabbath, Dio and Elf, all amazing. there will never be another like Ronnie. check this out [link] its a portrait i did of Ronnie after he died, sort of my tribute to him after he died

Wow, That's an incredible piece. It really does him justice. I have quite an appreciation for Ronnie, I grew up with my dad playing his records every weekend. It gave his work a real sense of sentimentality for me. I never had the opportunity to see him, but oddly enough, my father has one of his performances on VHS.

thanks a lot for the great compliments, the words are from a song by the heavy metal band Dio, Ronnie James Dio is known for songs like Holy Diver, Rainbow in the Dark, Heaven and Hell (from his work in Black Sabbath), his popularity peaked in the 80s though he's still very active in the metal scene today, he' my personal idol and these lyrics are from a song called Strange Highways, and though its not his best work, its a cool song that brings up really cool and unique images for me and i thought it would be great inspiration for a painting
