I have a hairless cat and a hairless rat, I wish my cat was like this.
I'd love to get a picture of them together, but she'll try to get to the rat even if it's in a cage. :/

Haha oh getting technical on me :] loll it was actually our first time breeding our rat, my sister just really wanted to breed her last rat but she passed away before she could find a nice boy for her. it was really just to be able to see the pups grow up and see what theyd look like. and before we wanted to see if we could get some hairless babies, but we figured out that we didn't, and would if we breed one of the babies with another hairless.

This is amazing. I myself have had rats all my life, and just recently my sister and I bread our Siamese dumbo, with a Hairless Cap. The babies are adorable, but none were hairless. [I have a few photos posted of them actually.] This photo is not only amazing, but adorable too! But I deffinatly think when you have hand raised animals from birth, they're are always gentler.

Hairless is a simple recessive, so breeding hairless to a normal haired, non-hairless carrier will only produce hairless carriers. It's not at all suggested to breed non-pedigreed animals, and rats from unknown lines. Responsible breeders only breed animals from known, documented lines, in order to improve the traits they are breeding for.
