I know, everyone's modeled a TT
This is my first real attempt at anything in Max...and it was only possible thanks to the awsome, free video tutorial by Blittze: [link]
I used blueprints, but it's by no means accurate. There a lot wrong with this. It's kinda a mashup of a bunch of different year models as I just grabbed random references.

To be honest, I don't remember. It was a couple years ago now....though not as long as I thought it was.
If I had to guess, I'd say, 25 hours...because I was just learning the software.

This is pretty nifty. I've been trying to model this car for a montn now and I keep doing it wrong so I have to star over and over again. Did you apply some kind of smooth the mesh? The mesh-less image seems so smooth. I always use too many polys...

If you are applying a mesh smooth, or a turbo smooth, try not to use many polys...but use as many as required to get the look. If you use too many, and they're not spaced out just right, you'll get a bumpy car.
