Nazi-AmericaA lot of people know the story about the Settlers and the Native Americans, yes? Well a lot don’t know about this story also.. so I have token it upon myself to tell this story. When settlers came to America to escape religious persecution in England they needed land, yes? So who else would they take land from other than the Native Americans? No one.. so they start to take Native American land. Now a lot of people like to say Native Americans where savages.. but would you not fight back if someone unwelcome came into your home? Now back to the story.. so the Native Americans start to fight back for their land. Settlers soon devise a plan on how to get the land.. they will try to destroy all the Native Americans (ah! here is where my point comes in

this picture is offensive because NO american president is a Nazi. comparing ANY American President to a Nazi is a falsehood. also, the Distinguished Senator from West Virginia, the Honorable Robert C. Byrd is the man on the right, and that man is the only constant voice of disagreement with President Bush. voted against the Iraq war, against the Patriot Act, against the Tax Cuts, and against Warrantless Wiretaps. it is an insult to me and every West Virginian to have Senator Byrd in this picture. I like the comparison between Bush and Hitler... But the comparison between the Settlers and the Nazis is far-fetched. This doesn't mean that the Settlers didn't do any horrible crimes. It's just a bad comparison.

A few thoughts: first of all to ch405t1c5, Hitler DID in fact hate the jews with a fervent passion. You are not the only one who has read Mein Kampf and does their history homework. I dont have time to write a whole page, as i am in school but could not let this go by, Hitler describes the jews to be parasites and the root of the countries problems. He was Jewish enough to be put into one of his own camps. Anyways back to the origional topic. I'm glad you are spreading the word of American genocide of the Native americans, Columbus day should never be celebrated because all he did was come and kill as many native americans as he could find just because they were heathens (no christian) He didnt even discover america. well id post more but i gtg.

Actually Hitler didn't HATE jews...Funnily enough, and anyone who's read Mein Kampf knows this (stupid Nazis dont even know their own shit, I read it to know what I'm against), he admired them in some ways. Hitler knew that the economic crisis state of Germany was made because of poor failures of previous leaders, but the people needed an easy escape route. Enter jews. Jews were the rich. Bourgeois, Marx would've called them. They dealt with the money, they handled the money, it's a common stereotype: Jewish people know their math. So Hitler advocated the working man through basically, a union. This union became a political party based strongly to the lower/working class. ANd it was known as...drum roll...the Nazi Party. This Nazi Party was filled with low-intelligence level people. being the suave and brilliant leader he was (and history shows us he's led the most efficiently run country and war ever), he convinced these men that the problem with the economy was rooted at the Jewish population. Few years later, when the Nazi Party came to power, through the politically brilliant Adolf Hitler, he accepted power and basically handed militaristic control to his right hand man, Heinrich Himmler. Himmler was just another low-intelligence level grunt with a knack for war. He blindly hated jews, established the SS, and systematically committed genocide. Hitler served as the suave and charismatic leader to woo the people to his side, much like a cult leader would. Himmler wanted the power and wanted Hitler dead, but he was not intelligent enough to do it. He was much like a wolf: not smart, but cunning. A knack for survival. Hitler knew he wanted him dead and knew there was no way he'd win this battle and come out alive. He knew he was going to die and far be it for him to leave the power to Himmler. In Mein Kampf he describes his ideal war: a one-sided war. He'd never make two fronts. He'd either attack france or russia, never both at the same time. He knew it was like leaving a wounded dog behind you to come back and bite you later. So when he knew he was going to lose, he did what he said he wouldnt do: he attacked two fronts. He invaded Russia (ending his agreement with arch-enemy communist Josef Stalin) while attacking Britain and France at the same time, opening the beaches of Normandy to an 'easy' raid, and allowing the troops to reach Berlin. Read the history books on the subject: Hitler allowed his country to fall.
And remember this: Hitler envied America. He loved it. He admired us, and he wrote all this in Mein Kampf. He never wanted to attack Americans. But seeing as how he had to due to the allied Britain, he knew he was going to try to go all out and attempted to fund a war between Mexico and America siding with the low-level intelligence Mexican Government, which is proved through an intercepted transmission basically asking for this compromise stating that if Mexico invades America, they'd get back Texas, California, basically the losses of the Mexican American war.
Now after saying all that about the Nazi rise to power, does anyone want to make a distinction between the American economic state (compared to Germany), an act of terrorism[War] (labeling a target to place blame of EVERYTHING on, and if not blame it on terrorism, say that our money is not as important as killing terrorists), and a charismatic figurehead with powerful, intelligent men underneath him (Colin Powell, John Ashcroft) labeling a society of middle-east muslims as the root of all evil, convincing the low-level of intelligence masses to scream 'KILL THEM ALL!!!'? This of course lead to our invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq (both Oil-rich, technology poor, and bordering Iran, a supreme target of oil), which compares to Hitler's invasion of the Rhineland, France, etc. Acquirement of land, that's all it is. The Rhineland was rich for agriculture, the mid-east is rich for oil. If the Republicanazi Party stays in power, these atrocities will continue.
And allow me to end this by saying this: I am not a Nazi, nor a fan of Hitler. I respect him for what he did because good or evil, it was an amazing accomplishment. I hate everything the Nazi party and the Swastika stand for and I'm a very fervent member of the anti-racism movement. But facts are facts.

I just want to thank you for making a statement that is actually supported by facts and sources. It makes you seem credible and I can take you seriously which is why I read that entire response. Judging from the slim responses, I guess not many other people had the patience or insight to read all of it.
Personally, whenever I see someone comparing GWB to Hitler, I get this reflexive instinct to roll my eyes and immediately lose respect for whoever did. No, I don't like King George either but if you think he's crafty or charismatic as Hitler, just... just NO. You're bad and you should feel bad.
Also, people don't seem to realize Hitler didn't just kill Jews, but pretty much every single minority was on the menu. Remember, he wanted to build a master race so he slaughtered everyone who wasn't blond haired and blue eyed.
Really, the slaughter was actually more like 10 million. And sure Bush sees the middle east as an obvious scapegoat and I'm not saying the following to try to make the guy look like a hero or anything but Hitler had men women and children loaded onto trains by the hundreds and sent to camps to be tortured, starved, and burned alive. And it was his OWN CIVILIANS WITHIN HIS OWN COUNTRY. Yes, middle eastern people are treated poorly here post 9-11 but you must realize the government is not sending storm troopers into the streets to ethnically cleanse the entire race.
George Bush Jr. is an idiot. A serious FUCKING idiot. Chances are he doesn't even want to be the President. Odds are he never even planned to be president, but the ones who are really in charge (Ashcroft, Powell) for some reason Bush would be the charming, cunning, perfect figurehead they can manipulate. However, Bush has all the charisma and suaveness of a diarrhea spewing pig on rollerskates and you really can tell just by looking at him on TV that he just doesn't really have a clue.
And whenever Hitler invaded a country (most of the time, I'm not really quite that good at history but I remember some bits but if I'm wrong don't call me retarded) it really didn't last very long. He'd go in, crush their military, and it was over. We've been in the middle east for (I'm only counting Bush's tenure) almost seven years and really haven't accomplished much. We killed Saddam, and that's only because he pretty much ran away and hid in a hole. We can't find Osama, a 7 foot tall diabetic who lives in the middle of a desert.
Hitler's machine was FAR more efficient than the American machine because his whole plan was the expansion of Germany and to make it the strongest nation. America's plan, or rather our government's plan, is to get bloated by not only sucking all the oil from the middle east but gouging it's own citizens by taking all our money. To non Americans: Did you know most middle class Americans have to give 1/3 our paycheck to taxes?

You're right they didn't come out of Mein Kampf, that was written between WWI and WWII, edited by Hitler's second in command, Rudolf Hess. I've studied many a book on World War II and I think the one I got the little tid-bit of info about Himmler's SS was first, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and second, it's pretty obvious. The SS and, the most brutal, the Death's Head SS committed the worst acts of war-crimes against humanity (although isn't it funny that War Criminals are always on the losing side?) and were under direct command of the SS commander, Heinrich Himmler. Hitler didn't control much of what happened, only 'invade here on this date...', after that it was up to his generals. Goring with the Luftwaffe (Airstrikes, mainly used in London towards the end of the war), who was very loyal to Hitler, Reinhard Heydrich controlled the SD (the information and espionage arm of the SS and Nazi Germany) and was loyal to Hitler but under direct command of Heinrich Himmler, the commander of the SS.
On a side note, Rudolf Hess (Hitler's best friend, his WWI commander, and the editor of Mein Kampf, not to mention the 2nd most powerful man in Nazi Germany) only 'recently' died. He wasn't executed or tried at Nuremburg (war-trials) but imprisoned in Spandau Prison in Berlin, after . He was the last prisoner (Prioner #7 they called him) and was the center of many a conspiracy. A doctor had examined him and determined, in his private report, that it was not Hess at all but a war-time double. Hess had suffered three bullet wounds in the first war and this prisoner #7 did not have them. He was under the prison of both the US, England, Russia, and Germany, because Berlin (pre-fallen wall) was under those commands, and Spandau Prison was there. There was also talk of a Spandau diary left by #7 that was 'never' recovered. Fun mystery to research if anyone's interested, and the best (and historically accurate and plausible) fiction-novel I've ever read was actually about it. Spandau Phoenix, Greg Isles, check it out

nearing the end of the war, the trains that carried jews to concentration camps had highest priority. if there was a load of soldiers that needed to go to the front, and a load of jews that needed to go to a camp, and only one train left, the jews would go first.

Virtually no nation in the modern world exists because it didn't take land from others. Britain as it exists today is there because invading Anglican tribes drove out the Romans, and the Romans had driven out the Celts, confining them to the frigid and mountainous wastes of Scotland. Also, focus. Assuming that's Newt Gingrich over Dubya's right shoulder, why has his face none? Now, to touch on the little story/arguement you seem to want to make. The Americans, ignoring that a whole bunch of this occured while they were still British settlers (which, by your logic, would mean Nazi Britainnia), were attempting to colonize the continent. This colonization process, in near exact replica, occurred pretty much everywhere throughout the world, in nearly any time period. Now, using your logic (which, IMHO, is flawed), we live in a Nazi world. Nazi bastard. Now, to address the little focal point, the legs on which your arguement stands, no, Hitler did not do the same things as the settlers. The settlers colonized because they wanted land. Hitler imprisoned and killed because, and solely because, he thought others were inferior to the master race. This minute, but integral difference voids your arguement. Good day.
