The timeline starts in 1700 and ends in 2010. How many of your favorites are present?
The dates on each square are the beginning to the end of each of the musical artists' musical careers. The ones that end in "???" or "Present" are artists who're still making music to this day.
I put them in order by the time the artists' career started.
There are a lot more recent musical artists present than old ones (The eighties start in the fifth row), but that's just fine. In a way, you can see the older artists represented are that much better to have lasted so long in the minds of the people.
And, we got a great variety of musical artists - classical, jazz, country, rap, soundtracks, etc. all from a wide variety of different visual artists!

Great! (I would like to know why Ringo is apart from the other Beatles,cause I see his was marked "1970 - Present",but beside from his solo career,he started music in 1956,a year before the other Beatles,but that aside,AWESOME!!!! (And where's Ravi Shankar!?!?!?)

I let the artists decide if they wanted to mark beginning of career or beginning of solo career with those. Hehe. There's a little inconsistency for the big four, but that's alright as long as they're in the picture, right?
