A crossover that's never gonna happen......ever....

This is a crossover between the ever popular Invader Zim, and the ever hated (but I for one absolutely LOVE it) Fanboy and Chum Chum. The three main characters from each show are sitting in Zim's Voot Cruiser. Although why on Irk did Zim allow any 'human worm babies' aboard his ship, I would never know.....

Anyway, this, my friends, is my FIRST TIME drawing Fanboy and Chum Chum in their true style. I've already done Kyle in the FBCC style in one of my fanarts [link] . I can't say I'm very happy with how they turned out, I guess I have to practise more.

Also, the real Voot Cruiser only has one seat for Zim, and a little space at the back. THIS Voot, however, has TWO rows of seats, and is much bigger. I'm sorry I had to alter it a little so that all the characters would be able to sit comfortably in it.

Also, I'm not happy AT ALL with the background, even though I took the longest time to color that!

Dib and Kyle's poses were fun to draw, because that's my pose when I'm bored or frustrated. You may also notice that Chum Chum seems a little tall. Actually, he's floating. I know it sounds random, but Chum Chum was seen floating randomly for no reason in a few scenes of FBCC (example episodes are "Night Morning" and "Lord of the Rings".)

Anyway, as I've said, this crossover is probably never going to happen. For one thing, Fanboy and Chum Chum is the complete opposite from Invader Zim. The animation and coloring for FBCC is cheerful, colorful, jumbly, stretchy.......while Invader Zim is darker, edgier, slightly more twisted....... The characters in FBCC are usually cheerful and random while in IZ, most of the characters are darker, slightly insane and can be rather creepy occationally. Even the soundtrack is very different. Listen to the background music for FBCC, then listen to the soundtracks of IZ. The difference is AMAZING.

The only character from FBCC I can see in IZ at all is Kyle. His personality fits the IZ world very well (Heck, it even fits the "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" world quite well too! ). His colors are also not as bright and cheerful as the colors of other characters on FBCC. In fact, have you seen the interior of his house? The colors there are considerably dark enough to look like somewhere in the IZ world. Kyle would definately fit in as one of Jhonen Vasquez characters, I think.

Right, I guess that is all I want to say. And yes, note to self: NEVER bring Fanboy, Chum Chum and Gir on a long journey. D;
