The creatures perched on the rock behind her have no teeth. They ensnare passing flyers in their jowl-tenticles, then gum them till they bleed- a long process- then suck the blood- an even longer process.She has brought her fathers skull to the peak in the traditional death ritual.

Just came to me looking at the completed painting, an organic experience all around. It does beg to be expanded, and that is the magic of painting- you can bash your head against the wall trying to come up with an original story, then you start drawing and end up with a whole new world to explore.
