Oil on Canvas, 11 x 14 inches. simply a field of sunflowers with a boy and his dog playing. the landscape it meant to almost shelter them, hence the tower clouds above, border of trees around, mountains to close that end off and sunflowers to blanket it all. The photo I took has kind of awkward lighting (the white part of the clouds got the most light cause the window is right next to the top of the painting) and the bottom came out darker which makes the sunflowers look a tad green..., but I try to get it as much natural light as I possibly can. I enjoyed painting this and I think it is my best so far

i simply love it - what a peaceful, playful atnospkere you created - very well done... 
if you were able to work with photoshop, you could edit it - working with soft edged masks would enable you to get more balance into the photo, for instance by lightening up the lower part a bit...

it takes a bit time to get used to it and to find our some of the essential tricks, but it's absolute worth the effort - you can get so much more out of your art... one of the problems with taking photos of paintings is the light and the colours - you can adjust so much with ps - it works wonders sometimes...
