Description I have been playing a lot with oil paint. I am really starting to favor oil over acrylic.

I was wondering, does this image look blurry in the fullview? I don't know what is wrong but lately all my uploads have been blurry and kind of pixelated in when I click fullview, but they look sharp in photoshop. I am confused!

I really like this. I think the different blending techniques help create the personality of the piece. favorite part is the lips

i prefer acrylic, but oils do have richer colors and better textures.
The picture came out nice i think, not blurry from my view, i can even see the detail of the canvas. it may be your computer, or even browser.

I always feel slightly wrong looking at paintings online. Part of the greatest things about painting is the texture of the paint. I bet the texture on this is great, I wish I could see it in person. :/

This is incredible!!! I love all the added brush strokes and the way the eye pops out from underneath it. And the lips and the shadows under them and then chin really lifts the face off the page. Very cool work

Not fuzzy or pixelated at all, but I've seen a lot of people that I watch say that they're having the same problem--and those who comment to their journals are saying the same thing. I think it's something with DA & just certain connections maybe?

I really like this, I love what can be done with oil paint, but I can't stand it. I love layering, and I know it can be done with oil, but I'm just so use to the dry brushing you can do so quickly in acrylic. I often envy those who can control oil, I love how invisible yet so vivid her eyes are. It's very impressive.
