I don't know what my obsession with twins and sisters is lately, maybe the fact I don't have one I subconsciously wish I had? Not really sure, but the idea intrigues me. I think I have always liked the concept and symbolism of duality.I want to make a story for these two, I am not quite sure yet what it will be. I don't know what this world is they live in, or whether they are dead or alive.
My palette knife is becoming my best friend

I can totally relate with your obsession about twins!
I often dream about having a twin sister. You know, someone to fool other people and creep them out or just someone you can "talk" with without using words. Only thoughts. A single look.

The palette knife..oh yes one of my favorite tools as well..works great for adding texture..I have been working on a similar feeling piece..strange where visions come from...Maybe someone is channeling through you to bring their story to life? They are beautiful either way. Your talents are breathtaking!

yes, when i have these clear but random visions, that is what i like to chalk it up to...channeling someone or something...telling us to paint or create..it comes from somewhere...I am wrapping it up..my vision was of three sisters, sharing one body, but has three heads and three different personalities..strange..i will have posted by this weekend..today is the final touches...let me know what you think of it..even though your technique is much more grand than mine..your colors and theme are so life-like..i try to paint real life, but i am incapable for some reason, everything comes out comic or brightly whimsical..i envy and revel in your talents...a mastermind with a paint brush...i have the red rose twins as my screen saver right now..they are lovely..ok let me know your thoughts on my channeled triplets piece..xo jet
