Description My fiance's birthday is coming up Monday, and I've been hard at work on a birthday card for her. I always make her one, becuase...well...there's not much for cards out in stores, I don't know if anyone else has noticed. Consumerism criticism aside, two of her favorite things are 1)Pandas and 2) Pirates, so I created....are you ready?...a "Pirate Panda"! I had fun with this character. I would like to revisit him down the road.

he looks awesome, and the colors really kick ass on this one And yeah, that's true about the cards, there's really not much out there. You made the best decision, making a card yourself, not only I bet it looks better than anything you could buy, but it has much more meaning very good work!

Thanks so much! Really glad you like the looks of the pic, and the card idea. Yah, I think it always means a lot more when you make something yourself. It requires more thought than trying to find a card in a store that someone else made up, to match the personality of the recipient. Thanks

I don't know what cards are like in the US, but here in Britain, if you don't drink, shop or like sports in excess, then there's just no cards to get! This is a great design though!

LOL, well, sounds like we have the same card selection here as well. I seriously hate going in, forking over 6 bucks for something that kind of looks funny, but isn't at all what you need for the occasion. It's all about sports and Napoleon Dynamite here...nothing wrong with NP, but you can only give your grandma so many cards that she doesn't understand, ya know.

Yeah, we have a lot of Little Britain cards here, but it just doesn't work when you send an elderly relative a card with "the only gay in the village" on it..... they kind of wonder what has happened to their bloodline!
