Final assignment for TAD's summer Workshop: paint an environment using traditional media. It's probably been almost 3 years since I've done a landscape painting in oils, so this was a really fun challenge for me and I'm REALLY tempted to continue this stuff as a weekend project of sorts.12" x 24"

Excellent scene. I am working on getting and using the "realistic brush strokes" in my 2D digital stuff, to add interest. You have accomplished that very nicely here, with the real brushes and paint. They work well together with the scene and style!
