My version of CS2 doesn't have that option either. Taking a screenshot of the grid like you suggested is the best solution I've found for this yet.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Ugh, I've been having trouble with perspective in my comics, especially since I have an uncompromising box as one of the main tools. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much
I am graduated from the carrer of interior design, in class I always used to draw my perspective guides, it was really annoying so, sometimes I used sketchup to draw but this is really useful too, I didn't know PS had this tool.

Very nice tut! I don't use Photoshop, but, the techniques are translatable to one of my mainstay programs (Krita). And Gimp users Manga Studio users will probably find it useful too, so it's a great all round tut!
If I may, I'd like to pass on a trick I use sometime. I use Google Sketchup 8 which is a free 3D program and I can make blocks and shapes that approximate what I'm working on, then take a screen-shot. I can either use the pictures as is, or use them as a drawing grid. I find that very useful. You can also download buildings and whole towns, vehicles, etc. and either print them out as references or use them as drawing grids. I understand some of the pros at Marvel use Sketchup this way.
I don't know if anybody here will find that useful, but, I thought I'd pass it on.

ooooh this is awesome. I have always drawn my own guides line by line, and they take so long and don't help me with scaling into the vanishing point. But this helps so much. I never realized it was in there. Thank you so much for writing this.
As a point of confirmation, it is available and even has a key command in CS5 (control + option + v) on my mac
