As I walked through the Bishop's Eye gate, I heard some really nice acoustic guitar being played. Down by the Moat I saw the guitarist playing his heart out, the only life about were the gulls & swans. I took some shots as I walked towards him, this is one of them. The guitarist, Jez was his name, was playing for the fun of it & looking for inspiration in the space where he existed. That's what he told me. He had been busking in town but no one was around so he decided to play for himself & the birds. On leaving I threw a few quid into his case.Related content

This one captures more of the story than the more moody, abstracted B&W one. Both are good, but this resonates with me more right now.

The "familiar" does this, we have sat in many a solitary spot while he plays to the Moon and Sunset etc. But nobody ever chucked money at him.
