My 1st #RedSonja cover , I believe it's for issue 16 for #DynamiteComics but I'm not sure which I like better, this or the one I did of her sitting in the river.I went against the grain and drew her from behind and I wanted a lunging forward while slicing a #snake . I left out the motion lines from the #sword and used the #blood do the job instead. It's ironic that my female action poses get more likes than most of my other art
It's not recommended to drop so much of a female face in shadow but I felt the piece was strong enough to do it.

I think great when I see a lot of your art but my first thought when I saw this was comic book and hope it goes to print. Sonja face in the shadow really adds to her mood and the over all feeling of the piece. You know the saying I hate to see you go but I sure love watching you leave fits pretty well here.

Thanks for your passion and honesty, I do wish to do each character justice and hope the true fans not only like my rendition but feel it's one of the best, their fave character has looked.

This is... inspiring. I've been stopped in my tracks and mesmerised by a picture a few times before - last time was a few years ago at the Belvedere museum in Vienna - and I've been struck with that sense of wonder and awe once again, right here. I think I'll be studying this piece for some time. Thank you for sharing this image with us, creator; I salute you with all the enthusiasm I can muster.
