Verry good. We can recognise him. The problem is the size thought. I guess you want to finish your pile of small paper before you change for a bigger size.
I have a question: how many colors did you use for the skin tone?

3 and yes your right i need to move to a bigger size..my finger is way too big to blend properly...i am actually thinking of moving to a bigger paper this weekened can you recommend a brand for me?

And try to use your finger as less as possible. I know it's not easy, but when you use your finger it blur the colors too much. Try to fix or blend your color by using your pastel. There's different size of pastels. I don't know what brand you use but for my part, I have two kind of pastels. I have big round pastel (rembrant) and smaller pastel. You can also use sand paper to ''sharpen'' your pastel. There's also pastel pencils but I use it only for verry small details like eyebrow, and they are verry hard to blend.
That's a lot of stuff to try, I hope it wont stop you to continue.

no not at all this really helps actually i remember reading in your lehgolas tut. though that you did use your finger to blend so basically it's adding cross hatching blending? and maybe just light blending with your finger after you've done most of the blending with cross hatching? is that correct? ehehehehe i need to find another victom to draw ^__^

Well you just need to be verry delicate when you use your fingers. Especially when you're at the end of your project.

Ok I got over it ^^ Awesome work, I don't know the movie of the character but I love the effects you can make with pastels, you did a wonderfull job!
