Nakai performed a rare ventral zipper during the show; it was so nice to see it again!Taken during One Ocean at SeaWorld San Diego on 12/16/12.

I don't know where you heard that from but as you can see it's not true. By now he's improved considerably and there's more harm than hurt in not having Nakai in shows. Nakai still needs to be included and exercise, be it during or outside a show.

That's true, I never expected a wound like that to fill in and heal, either way, I have little respect for Sea World or any marine park.
