My most recent commission (for a very kind patron on Tumblr) could not have been more fun. One of the best 90’s Godzilla Kaiju, Biollante herself.

Godzilla DNA spliced with a rose and the geneticist’s dead daughter. I defy you to come up with a weirder back-story for a kaiju.

She was one of my favorites as a kid, despite the fact that I got nightmares from an early scene where, in her smaller stage, she kills a bunch of burglars with her vines. It’s been forever since I’ve seen Godzilla vs. Biollante and now I REALLY need to re-watch it.
