Description
Recently I've been playing around with ornate almost clown-like characters, adding a lot of chitin and bone to resemble outlandish clothing or jewelry. I also like the idea of monsters that embellish themselves with makeup or tattoos the way humans do.

This drawing is one of my newest that's been under-drawn with copic marker, then refined with pencils. The markers I've found at school are just light enough that I can make plenty of mistakes that don't show up in the finished drawing.
