This is another one of my charas (I know, I should just draw a boy instead of all girls, but girls are easier!
) in Dragon Age: Origins (see trailer here! [link] )This one is my Human Female Mage: Lalaith (you might recognize that name
).In case you're wondering, YES, I modified her tattoo.
In my imaginary, she's very smart and I would describe her behavior as chaotic good (normally good but takes advantage of things whenever she can, and she does not feel guilty about it, even if she harms someone... like silly blood mages who call themselves her friend
). She fell for Duncan (I have no Idea why I thought of that ) but that could not be, and you all know why (I wont spoil). Then I think she went after Zev... But Alister was still interested in her.That's all so far... Enjoy!

I actually suck when it comes to BG, so I left it plain in order to not mess it up... Also, I think that maybe the contrast between her figure and detail and the emptiness of the BG might improve the vision of her...
Maybe I just say that to me so I don't feel guilty abut sucking at BGs...

Me too, but I was into Tolkien since child 'caused both my older brothers loved him... And since I didn't had LOTR complete in my house I read everything else first... The Silmarillion, The Lost Tales, Unfinished Tales, The Hobbit...
You should read The Hobbit First, I think... How would you link the books to your admission? I ask this 'cause I used the silmarillion in my secondary school thesis in philosophy in something like comparative religions... I'm sorry but explaining this in English it's quite hard for me too (thou I understood you perfectly!)... But I'm really interested in what you're going to use, if you don't mind telling me about it

I don't mind,quite the contrary,I love talking about such things^^ It will be an oral exam,so I can't do much.The story behind this is the ring of Gyges,if you know it.It makes you invisible so you don't have to be afraid of punishment for stealing or something.In our class there was the idea "hey,it's like in LotR!",and I was the only one who saw that it's not the same.I have to lol every time I think of it,because I was in school and quoted Gandalf xD I told them that Gandalf says that Sauron put a bit of his evil mind in the Ring so that the Ring is evil itself and makes you do bad things,whereas ring of Gyges isn't evil and you have the choice wether to do bad things or not.Then,some days ago,I spoke with my teacher about my Abitur(that's what it is in German,it's easier to write for me^^),and for fun I said "I'd like to talk about LotR",and because he is cool he said "yeah,I could do some ethics-task with it!" ^^ So,sorry for writing that much,but I love philosophy for such things ^-^

You should, it would broaden your view of the JRRT world...
I wasn't aware of the story about the Ring of Gyges but it certainly looks like the trigger for the LOTR plot. But I have to agree with you concerning the moral difference between the two stories. It is obvious in LOTR that the ring has a wil of its own, and not only convinces the bearer of doing bad things, but also does whatever it can to go back to his master's hand...
Everything in LOTR revolves around the ethics and moral in people, specially making a distinction between each race...

Indeed,it seems like an inspiration.I'm reading a book about LOTR and philosophy right now,and in one essay the aouthor wrote that JRRT wanted to show what moral is.
I'll let you know^^ I will get my grades about june/july next year,so it could take some time ;D

That sounds true, and it's also to be expected since that's probably one of the most common content a book of this sort could have. I've been recently recommended another Saga that holds similar values as the ones here but it's not Fantasy, it's Sci-fi... If you are interested I'll recommend you that one and another onethat is fantasy but it's also great and not that similar to LOTR... The Sci-Fi Book is "Dune" and the Fantasy Book is "The Belgariad" and "The Malloreon".
