Well ... I think it's just true? I'll write my thesis on Maiko and Geiko - sort of ... so I pay attention to those things
And it's lovely to see that some people actually know that there's a difference between Maiko and Geiko - and that the first even exist and such

Few years ago I was crazy about the subject and read good few books about it. I still feel sentimental about it, though I have to admit the knowledge is fading a bit and I find myself having more and more problems to distinguish one from another - I mean I know the 'looks' difference between them, but I keep mixing the terms

Well yes - the movie was horrible - but interesting in its very own way - mainly how they changed Japanese things/customs to make their clothes look pretty/sexy for Westerners.The blue
Liza Dalby advised them on kimono and such - which still shocks me a bit as she's been a Maiko herself a long time ago. I thought she would help make it make more accuarte - but obviously not.
The blue eye part was even in the book. But in the book description they were more grey-ish, if I recall correctly. Plus, the author was an American - so what do you expect?

Efekt jest AMAZING! Powinnaś więcej takich inkowych obrazków naskrobać! Czarny gwash ma podobny matowy błysk co tusz... ale..chyba jednak tusz łatwiej nałożyć...chociaż nie koniecznie łatwiej zetrzeć z rąk i twarzy XD
