I am cruelly aware of all the mistakes in this, the excess of the curve in the light in particular, but given how today and yesterday have been for me I'm choosing to disregard them.
I've never been one to draw "sad pictures" when I'm upset (I used to do the occasional "angry" picture when I was younger, but I grew out of that.. ah, puberty), normally I'll draw something happy to cheer myself up. I wasn't quite up to doing that this time, so apologies for the change of pace. I won't go into the details, but I'm going through a rough patch; I'd much rather talk about Xee, anyway c:

The Xeeva depicted here is the one you're soon going to be stuck with, and she will make it a chore for you to feel sorry for her... but you probably should, anyway. Her hormones finally got her, so to speak.. and she’s having a little trouble sorting out her feelings (whilst doing herself no favours by being intensely self-critical of her sudden vulnerability, as it’s so far removed from the stoic approach to life she's always had and valued).

Aside from this picture being a venting outlet for me, I really do need to draw Xeeva more, and propose a little evidence that she does actually have more than one facet to her personality xD

I’m going to go have some therapeutic vegemite toast now.

It really wasn't a good idea for me to attempt to make a picture with lighting, perspective and a CAT when I was so emotionally compromised ... I like the line-art so maybe I'll try colouring it again some other time... maybe..
