Description I decided to not upload the pictures from this trip in chronological order so here is one from the second day. It's shot from Glissade Pass which is a pretty fitting name. Hikers around here also like to call it The Beast. The reason for that is that it's basically about 400 meters of elevation gain within 1 km straight up to the pass  - basically without switchbacks. On the other side it's the same way down but with loose gravel and rocks. Going down didn't take us long because you can basically ski down the gravel, using the hiking poles to keep balance. Going back up is another story though...

Down in the valley there are a lot of unnamed creeks, waterfalls and basins. The main creek that runs through the basin in the middle is called Axeman Creek. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Location: Glissade Pass, Divide Lake Trail, Tombstone Territorial Park, Yukon Territory, Canada

Imagine seeing only rocks and earth in front of you for more than an hour because the trail is so steep and then you reach the pass and get this view. It's jaw-dropping.
