I finally went back to draw something in my lil sketchbook at work. It actually took about a day an a half. I wanted to draw something in the background, I mean, it looks like I really need something in that background... but I couldn't think of anything. So I decided to not mess it up and just leave it blank.Related content

~ It's Tokio~!! She's so incredibly beautiful in this picture! The way you drew her smile is so perfect! I couldn't help but squee smile back at her. Those bold lines look so amazing! I love how even though they're thick and healthy looking, they still take on this very elegant and light flowy feel. That is such an amazing skill you have, Eeni!
I actually think that the negative space in the picture makes a real impact here, and it works superbly to your advantage, for it lets your brilliant inking lines stand out. Hehe, and in a way, it reminds me very much of the formatting of those fun pictures you often see at the start of a new manga chapter. Brilliantly done, Eeni! Your works continue to get better and better and better! It's such an inspiration to see!

Really...? You think that empty space is good? I kinnda feel like it needs something in the background... I was thinking about the riverbank that Saitou & Tokio meet at. I don't know, I might figure something else.

Yes, I do! For some reason in this case, the empty space looks really great! Maybe it's because her presence on the page with the way you inked it is so strong, that my mind automatically filled in a background without you even having to draw it. It doesn't feel empty at all in my mind. But if you personally feel like a background is needed, then the riverbank where Saitou and Tokio meet is the perfect place!

I'm trying get it under control. This was done with a brush pen rather then nibs, so, it's a learning in progress.

You think they're good? It was kinnda of thick because I was using a brush pen instead of ink & nibs in a rather small notebook, so that's why it looks bolder then usual... But I'm still learning and trying new stuff. It's a learning in progress!
