Really well done! I like how you bring these characters alive and the choice of colours. I agree with everyone else on the choice of a warthog which is a refreshing idea and very interesting choice as well. (BTW, I think you did a really good Miss Piggy drawing)

I'm not sure why Cassie is so popular, I'm not saying Sierra is better... but what does Cassie have that just about every other vixen not have? She's cute, but then again so is about every other female vixen out there. She's fun... but then so is just about every female vixen out there. No offence to the creator, after all I helped him bust someone who was using Cassie in RP chats and claiming it was their character... but she's a cardboard cutout vixen. I am not sure if there are stories written about Cassie, which would explain since I never posted anything for very long.... and at times I feel I never will again.
Also Cassie is far better advertised. I have DA and a website that nobody knows exists. I can't illustrate my own comics, my hands hurts wayyyyy too much these days with calcifications otherwise known as dystomic calcification. I can't find anyone willing to do a comic online without wanting money which I can't afford. No one will do it for fun and fame. So, Sierra will never reach the level of popularity the carbon copy cartoons of kitties, vixens, skunks, and puppies will. Another reason... I won't allow my characters to be drawn in porn.

Well look at it this way. A vixen is easy to draw and noticed as you mentioned.
People shun stuff because they are afraid of liking it and it's very true.
People like and love porn.(Furry or not).
To me I think Cassie is popular is because of the of the fact she's a vixen and porn is drawn of her.
But she's a singer and she has a band.
There are a few stories about her.
But not too much.

Yeah, personally I think Cassie is shallow and uninspired. Perhaps that's one reason she's popular, people don't have to actually think to enjoy her.
But the web sites are gone and all remnants of the collection is gone aside from the storage I have on Yahoo. But I'm for the most part done in the fandom. When the last commission comes in (I have Akirashima, Glassjawed Boxer, and Terrie Smith and Horus Goddess who are doing work for me. Most will be a while before I get it in) that's it.

i guess its all about exposures. Think about the shows we see on TV, the shows get the most exposures usually get aired the most, despite the level of their content. A prime example is YTV (a Canadian channel) 's air time between two Nickoldeon shows, Spoongebob & Avatar. Spoongebob gets aired like twice a day, but Avatar only aired once an week (and Avatar is a series with tight story line). As much as I like Spongebob, i am furious of hte lack of exposure of Avatar in Canada because if it gets more exposure, people would flock to watch it and demand more.

Right, and I don't have the means to expose my characters. Not that it would make much difference. In furry fandom there's such a huge lack of originality that anything new and different will likely be shunned. Furry fandom has only a few subject.
Furry super heroes/spies. like Extinctioners
Furry fantasy like Tales of the Questor
Furry Slice of life. Nip and Tuck and under the lemon tree.
There's not much else. Almost all of it relies HEAVILY on either angst or camp humor. Not a whole lot of action, even in Extinctioners.
My characters are doomed to be obscure. There's not a whole lot I can do about it. What's really insulting is how my characters are so obscure and lesser known over characters that have absolutely no plot or purpose. A fandom that someone made a four digit dollar ammount.. for a stick figure vixen.

For some of us. That does happen. But I will say this.
I do like Sierra. She is one of my favorite to look at.
To people life and other stuff is boring with furry.
They shun it because they feel it threatens their
porn and porn characters.
As a matter of fact I got shunned for trying to commission a sports/rec theme picture.
You want to know why?
Because they hate sports and they feel such a picture will ruin their little spot.
But I'm stronger than that and I won't let that stop me.

Yeah, but my dog is out of the fight now. I can't handle it any more. For 18 years I have been putting a little bit of everything into the concepts, not only Sierra but the whole Razor's Edge. A lot of things I put everything I had into. I had believed that saying that was constantly rammed into my head throughout school "With enough hard work and dedication you can do it!" but that saying was wrong. I am so heartbroken because now I look back and realize how much I had and gave up for this project.

Very true statement regarding to the fandom. That's why I do feel some kinda void when I do draw my furry characters because I dunno what to do with them (same as Ogre, I don't want naughty stuff flying around. Not especially my RL friends know i am a Furry already) That's why i feel i don't wnat to invest too much time on the AC06 book sketch, especially i only confirmed that i'd be going recently.
