Commission for ~AshkihyenaThis is Ashkihyena's character Aza; a spotted hyena in a wrestling match with a character of my creation: Razor the Russian boar as requested. This is Razor's second appearance in my gallery as part of a commission. Maybe I'll do more with her in the future. She seems to have slimmed down since boxing with Sierra for :devbigevilogre.

I really like the way the hyena came out, but both look pretty darned good. There's a good balance of feminine curvature and muscle in this one, so the ladies are strong without being butch. Their feet all look good and it's sort of surprising how attractive Razor is despite her porcine nature.

She looks good even though she's a pig because I got mad pork skillz! I kid. Thanks for the comment on the feet. Most of my drawings end up cutting off the feet. Not because I don't like to draw them but because I like a close shot and don't plan my pics very well. I've had mixed reviews on the muscular ladies thing. I'm going to try to cut it back a little in some future work.

It's your choice. These two are about as muscular as they can be without going too far, in my opinion, but it's a sort of 'build' to remember if you ever create a female character whose specialty is more physical than finesse-based.

Now that I finially have my net back, I can say that I love this, love how you did both Aza and Razor, and yes, the spots on Aza are done greatly.
Also, heh, I don't mind the musclar females, not one bit. Anyways, awsome job, very, very awsome job.

Excellent work – the poses and colours really make the characters come alive, and the silhouetted spectators are a splendidly neat little touch. The hyena's spots look great too, because they don't have black outlines - they actually look like proper fur markings. Groovy!

Thanks. I've been wondering lately if I draw my females too muscular. I intended to make them muscular, don't misunderstand me but I wonder if less muscular equals more attractive for most people.
