Well, at least he didn't seriously injure them. Seems he just fought to blow off some steam, and he's going so far as to fix the bear's jaw.
Personally, I don't have the same kinda restraint. I don't know much about fighting (didn't get into many brawls when I was young), but if someone said that about a girl I cared for, a few bruises would be the least of his worries.

Yeah, Gemini knows the bear guy was drunk and he did help him out earlier by giving him some advice. People say stupid things when they are drunk.

I don't know why but this seems like one of the nicest color schemes I've seen in the last several pages... facial expressions are top notch as always, esp. Gemini in panel one and the bear in panel four. Panel three gets the win though, with "shaky arms" gesture, and the "flying tooth" technique. Little details like that go a long way in communicating effectively to the viewer. Aries' friend has a hilarious change of heart from panel to 3 to 4... that is deadpan timing at its best.

Thanks Josh. It was one of my more complicated pages in a while. I'm worried that my work is getting a bit too cartoony but humor was the intent. I like to work it so that my comic can be silly and serious when needed, kind of like some of my favorite anime shows.

Chops's expression and waving arms are just hilarious, and I love the way Aries is so calm about it all: "Are you about done over there, Pete?"
Plus, the way a rabbit takes down a rhino, puma, warthog AND bull is simply epic

Heh, Pete was actually happy to see the other guys come along. Looks like a rabbit's foot really isn't good luck, lol. Love Chops in the third panel, and how he calms down once he hears about the bear badmouthing Sagittarius. And how Kel just nonchalantly asks Pete is he is done, not even surprised at all. This also shows that Pete is even a sorta nice guy when he's on the more darker side of his personality. Now who to check on next?

They did attack him first, so he can claim self-defense, and he was kind enough to see to the bear's medical needs(although I'm sure he's grinding the bones more than neccessary or some such).

Like the razorback, the buffalo... I just know they are not just picked out of a hat of available mammals...

They were kind of picked at random. I was looking for big, powerful animals, not team mascots. I don't know any teams that use the rhino.
