Personally the sequential arrangement works better than the single pictures. It is an awesome piece of work, and one that could be printed huge and hung in a gallery. Each picture is a finished work, but together, they create a visual narrative.
Simple, Clean yet effective. I have to give this five stars simply for originality. And because everything else is flawless.
People can look at this in two ways, one being as the waiting period as titled in each. Or another, being the way we forget to think about the beauty of life, when we simply open the fridge and pop an egg on the stove, or a mac chicken nugget in your mouth. All these had a beginning, and behind that simple life we take for granted, is a soul, and an understanding of the world. Instinct. No matter what the damn christians say about animals not having souls... e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/w⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)" /> . So it can be a moving piece of art, or a bold statement, and it excels in both regards for me. Not a sequence I would tire of, hanging in my house...
The negative. NONE... your work and approach to your work is bold and fascinating, as well as original.
Nice work

I love this piece. For me, it's the bold statement as noted in the critique that makes this so powerful, but without the great execution on your part, the message would have fallen flat. Well done!

XDΒ Nice captions.
I was thinking of the waiting game slightly older siblings can go through when they have been told they are going to get a little brother or sister, and how the might not always have the patience for how long that can take. xD

I like the idea of switching two of the captions
1 Big Brother
2 Waiting for you
3 Siblings
4 Still Waiting...

this is SO ADORABLE. (escpecially since my grandma used to keep baby chickens, but now she's too old to take care of them.. I love baby chickens. They are fluffy and warm and just make the cutest little high-pitched speaks/peeps. GAWWWW)

Literally timeless. If there are birds from eggs and a love of cute, this set will stand the test of time.

I agree with dkj1974 in how it is more expressive in narrative form. Each photograph in itself is a clean shot. But having them all together makes it even better with more expression that you see being told in each frame. Great piece. I hope this eventually gets a DD.
