Heh, I wan't originally meaning to join Armonia because of how many groups I already am in, but seems like I couldn't resist after all. 8'D

So here, have a Steampunk Nidoking. :U GOSH he was difficult to draw on such a small app base. 8''D So many details.. It was almost like doing pixel art. OTL And later on I realised that I didn't get the app base in its full size after all. I blame my computer for not letting me download the PSD-file, and I thought just copy pasting the preview on Sai would do the trick. 8I *Punches laptop for that AND bluescreening*
It's so nice to draw buff characters once again, ahh~<3 And next I should work on my second teacher app for Optera. More strong guys~. Yap, more. Sorry for all the app-spam lately. 8'D Things just like to really pile up. *sigh*

And I hope there won't be too many typos and such. I actually already wrote this ALL once, but just when I was gonna submit it, my computer bluescreened, erasing all the text. So I had to write all the backstory and such AGAIN. After not sleeping at all during night. And it's now ~2pm. Quess who's too tired to care if the grammar is fine?
So it prolly is even shorte than the original too, I'll add stuff later if I'll remember them. |D

Nature: Gentle. (+Sp. Defence, -Defence)

Ability: Sheer Force (DW-ability)

Hometown: Goldenrod City

History: Rennei was born and raised in Goldenrod City, Johto. Well, not IN Goldenrod City, but really close to it. His father, a Nidoking, was a shoemaker who could work miracles with any kind of leather, and mother, a Nidoran, was a seamtress with a love for anything unique. It probably comes as no surprise when I say that their son also shares the same passion and talent -after meticulous training, of course. As a little boy he would watch his father make shoes of the most intriquing shapes no matter what form the foot would have. Even if Rennei himself didn't get to work with his equipment until much, much later.
Ever since he was a little kid he was also interested in fantasy books. Be it stories of warriors and dragons, or something more.. Well, Jules Verne. And that reflected on his works as well. He always either made his own clothes or had his parents make them for him as he just told them what he was envisioning. When he was younger, he always strived for that 'fantasy-warrior'-look. Oh, what a fun sight he was, no one could help but smile at the little 11-year-old Nidoran in a miniatyre warrior attire. He always thought normal people looked.. Boring. Who would like to wear a T-shirt and jeans publicly anyways? He never saw shame in the way he dressed up. If someone laughed at him, he's just be happy for having put a smile on somone's face. He indeed wanted to be that character who stuck out from the crowd, as a fantasy-character in this plain world of ours. And if he would see someone else in similar clothes.. Oh, the amount of joy he felt!
Also.. LARP. That was a hobby he sometimes had the chance to participate in. He was a bit awkward there because of his size and feared he might hurt someone by accident, even if they said it was fine. Thus he mostly just watched from the sidelines, not that that wasn't great fun for him as well! Though with that hobby, took part or not, he did learn to be quite an actor if need be. Well, as long as the part would be the one on a warrior or explorer!
He went to an ordinary school, and despite his unusual dressing style, he never was bullied – possibly partially because of him always having been a bit larger than other students his age. |D And at school, he was not really anything special. He didn't do amazingly well nor horribly badly in any subject. He was just that average student who only excelled in his hobby.
But why would he want to Armonia? Didn't he have everything all right back home?
Well, yes, but he loves to travel. He never really got too far from home but he really was a sucker for seeing pictures and hearing storied on other cities and regions. Now he wants to see something for himself. Go somewhere where people come from all over the known regions! So here he is now, at Olivine City's train station, waiting for the lights of the locomotive to shine in the distance. What would await at the other end of the railway tracks?

Personality: He is one of those people who love to please everyone. He would not act like a total doofus for that, but you can be sure he'll come up with something to say that would cheer you up – if his clothes already hadn't done just that!
He would never purposefully hurt anyone's feelings, and expects the same from others. He really is quite sensive. He wouldn't mind people laughing at him, as he'd just laugh along, but straight-forward insults? It doesn't take much to make him sad over such remarks. He wouldn't get mad, just... Sad.
You wouldn't want to see this big guy sad, would you? :'c
But yes.. Gentle giant would be quite a fitting description for him.

Characteristic: Capable of taking hits. (+Defence)

Hobbies:
- Leather- and metalwork. Mostly clothes and accessories. Though he also kinda likes to restore old metal-items. Like candelabras. Hoh.
- Reading. Mostly fantasy and non-futuristic sci-fi.
- LARP! Though like I explained in the backstory.. He tends to be a bit overly careful with that, even if the 'weapons' would be pretty much harmless. |D So he often just watches unless the story really needs a huge Nidoking in it. :U
- Traveling. And seeing, even just hearing about, foreign lands.
- Steampunk! Leather, brass, earthly colours, gears, etc. He just adores that style!

EXTRA:
- Under all those clothes, his body has the typical Nidoking-shape. Round joints on shoulders, funky-shaped knees and all that. It just won't show from under all those clothes. |D He does have the spikes on his back too, and they have holes made on the jacket, just for them. *Nod*
- He can sometimes be seen wearing that leather tophat and goggles too. He just is a bit paranoid with hats. His ears are indeed large, and it can be a bit kinky to wear a hat. He has to pull his ears down if he does, and well.. If he gets surprised and pops his ears back up, the hat soon can be found on the floor. |DD

- He's about 200cm / 6'7'' tall. I'm not sure if the feet came out right as here we don't use them. :U But yes, he's huge. A real closet of a Nidoking.
- He quite likes candles. Not the fancy, detailed ones that are more art than candles, but the simple, long candles on pretty candelabras~. He loves brass candelabras especially. Naturally.
