mechanical pencil on paper, 12x7cm, ca. 2-3 hours (during a dreadfully boring lecture -- they can be a wonderful incentive after all)

the funny (sometimes frustrating) thing is that I don't often have a clear vision in my head that I set out to depict. More often than not, if I have one such, I end up with something very different to what I had in mind. I find that to be one of my bigger flaws. In fact, I should be working more... but there's little time for that nowadays. :/

it was an accident. I was there for another lecture, only the professor didn't show up (greek ed.system ole), so I thought I'd go to another that was on my schedule (and normally didn't attend because I knew exactly how boring it is) to pass the time until the next.
Oh well. I'm glad it gave some room for creativity.

Yes, they're just great for this sort of detailed work -- even if you are bored with drawing, you know you don't have anything else better to do -- so you go back to it for as long as the lecture lasts.
