Thanks! I wanted the dragon to be half-camouflaged, as a nod of sorts to him being an imagined addition to a real place.

Simple, yet stunning - probably due to the monochromatic colors and very good shading - it perfectly shows all shapes, which is not an easy thing on snow. I also really like the atmosphere of the whole piece and big brushes which you used. : )

I think I ought to have a post-it note stuck somewhere visible writing 'USE BIG BRUSHES'. Too often I just want to detail away, but every time I make myself tend to larger forms first, it pays off.

I'm still learning this, but I guess putting a post-it note somewhere around my workspace would also help
I'm always amazed when I see a digital painting made with big strokes, which somehow capture both form, lighting and details. You're pretty good at it, in my opinion : )
