At Discworld, everyone has an hourglass measuring the time of his/her life. What would hourglass of Time itself look like? And because Time is a beautiful young woman with dark hair, the choice was rather simple - sterling silver wire, amethyst, moonstone and custom made hourglass filled with sand from lapis lazuli and amethyst.Totally unique! Made for wire-wrapped competition "Time machine".

Custom made hourglass? Did you make yourself or commissioned? I've been searching for ages trying to get an hourglass similar to that.

Commissioned, I got a glass-blower do it for me, but I donΒ΄t know if she works outside Czech republic

It's just wonderful! Reminds me of hourglass from the palace of some eastern ruler, something from "1001 nights" fairy tales.

It's a cool concept, Just a bit to much wire for my taste xD but thats my opinion, my opinion doesn't really matter

I thought about what you said and I think I know what you mean - I love ornate designs, so I usually end up using more wire and wire embroidery than I planned to - and sometimes I look at the finished project and think itΒ΄s too much, too
