Appearance: Jyoti may be small for her species but she is not fragile. Her body is kept terribly fit not only by the healthy food she eats (When you get her to slow down for it that is) but also by the constant work she does around Neema and then some. It is not uncommon to find some new nic or bleeding scratch on the girl who would rather get the job done than pay mind to herself. She has long unruly brown hair that she usually keeps in a pony tail, though for events she'll wear it down. She has two horns atop her head that are very real, and very sharp. A little wispy buffalo tail and two feral feets for stomping about complete her. She proudly wears the colors of Neema along with the characteristic fur around the top and bottom of her small vest.
She sports work gloves AT ALL TIMES (and maybe forgets to take them off at night sometimes too whoops) The one on her right is longer so a trained falcon can easily perch upon it.

Weapon: None. Jyoti doesn't have a weapon and was never properly trained in combat, doesn't mean she wasn't in her fair share of scuffles and fist (and hoof) fights as a kiddo. She packs a mean punch. However she wishes to become knowledgeable in fighting (very enthusiastic about it too), not only because it looks hella cool, but because she wants to protect the ones she loves.(Aka: All her Neema residents and hell why not the rest of Arhzung. She'll fight you all.) so if your character happens to be well versed in things of weaponry expect her to ask you many questions.

Personality: Jyoti is a hard worker, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a great time doing it. Jyoti is sure to put a smile on anyone's face. Even the most miserable princess being forced to dirty her nails in the vast farm fields that support Neema. She has an infectious personality of fun and easy-goings. Its one of the main reasons she is able to get work done, she just has so much damn fun doing it. This doesn't mean shes not capable of putting her hoof down and sternly laying down the law. Just as easily as she can paint the world with a smile she can let you know how very disappointing your actions have been. AND THEN OFFER HELPS TO IMPROVE THEM 8D

Likes:
- Working in the fields. This is where you will find her a lot of the time
- Conversing with the merchants in town! She loves the marketplace
- rebuilding is never done. She tries to help >_>
- Pomegranates are her favorite snack ever.
- Fishing, but she hasn't gone since her father died
- Paper work can be...fun..yes. YES IT CAN. no. 1 hour in and shes gone
- Practicing with Saiph! (Her falcon)

Background:
Jyoti was born and raised in Arhzung. Her family is a long lineage of leaders in Arhzung, some even spin tales that their ancestors were the first to settle here long long ago.
She was raised by a single father who was by every definition a good man. But it couldn't be said he was wise, smart, yes. Considerate and thoughtful definitely. However he often made choices on a whim which would cause little hiccups here and there and possibly halted progress in other places.
A characteristic that made the leader shake his head and gruffly mumble under his breath he needed help with all of this.
He was great father by all means. His daughter was taught by fine teachers and even a bit bookish in habits anyway. But she would always love being outside running around with her friends more in the reckless abandon of all children.( Jyoti was a ruffian of sorts as a kid, running around with teeth missing too early and rough housing with the boys and trying to hide her new bruises and scrapes from dad before going home to study.) Or even at be at her fathers side or in his lap when she was younger helping or watching him make decisions. Walking by his side through the busy always growing village and meeting inhabitants without any form of status at all.

So when the buildings that Jyoti used to run and weave and dart around laughing and playing beneath the red awnings that spanned overhead of streets was burnt to a tinder along with her father.
She was devastated.

However she had been raised for the position of leader that was now hers. She had watched and learned and mentally prepared herself for this day. Yes- she didn't expect it nor ever want it to come about like this. But it did. She would not collapse onto her knees and do naught but weep and little else like so many of the people here. No. She would rise to this occasion. They will rebuild Neema.

After too short of a time grieving, the first order of business was surrounding herself with an array of wise people (Some young most old) of different mindsets and talents they began work right away. Refusing to stay down.

Since Neema had grown over the years of the old buildings that now lay in crumbles. The knowledge that had been accumulated would be put to use. People who were once travelers long ago and become dwellers readily offered ideas on the new buildings from the customs that they practiced in their birthplaces.

It was a hodgepodge of efforts at first. The work was hard and understandably so as many people had died in the blazes. But they made do and everyone got dirty, everyone helped everyone did something in helping rebuild. The new buildings are better, stronger, sturdy, representing Neema in its fullest light as the Rock of Arhzung.
When the town began to start looking like "completion" was near. (good progress never stops moving forwards) At the idea of the council word was sent out to nearby and not so nearby nations that this is a developing city place of trade with a small ocean port. Come take advantage of it. They weren't just going to get along like they used to, they were going to THRIVE.
Naturally trade began to filter in with the word of this "new" place of business. Bringing more resources, more people, more workers.

And so under the astute business-like and cunning eye of young Jyoti that Neema was resurrected not just to its former self but to a new glory

one of her original ideas not brought by the small council they keep of wise men and women, was of course the Neema monument. She is firmly vested in paying tribute / homage to those who went before and a sign that Neema will continue to stand and act as the way point was erected in the middle of the bigger part of the city.

Additional info:
- She has raised and trained a falcon since hatching. It's not uncommon to see her walking through the town with Saiph on her horns or shoulder. God forbid the glove where he is supposed to be.

- She can't fight. But that doesn't mean shes not afraid to! She'll get her ass whooped if it means you don't have to.
