Obviously, my scanner is a tool.So, killed colours aside, here be Murtagh, Thorn and a very poorly coloured Zar'roc from Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle. I adore those books, although I'm not sure why...
Also, this is my first *actual* deviation, so yay for that.
I will be doing Eragon/Saphira and Oromis/Glaedr as well. Eragon is currently being coloured and Oromis is in half-finished sketch form.
I guess I took a bit of a creative liberty with Thorn's wing/stomach/wierd head-web thing colour. I know he's not yellow. I just happen to think it looks better that way, and I didn't have a lighter shade of red that I could have used. While I'm addressing the issue of colour, I'd like to say that I realize he looks mildly orange... It's because of the scanner.
Whatev.

This is pretty nice, except the Murtagh's arms are a little bit skinny and Zar'roc could been a teensy tiny bit longer I think. I really like Thorn's scales, especially with the reflected light... highlight..thing. I'm not good at shading and stuff
What do you use to color with?

Yeah, I own a set... but it's missing a bunch of pencils and it's at least 20 years old.
For pencil crayons I normally use Faber-Castell (I think that's it

I had to get some decent colored pencils, since all I own right now is some Crayola ones from when I was 10

Ditto! I was so sad when he was fighting Eragon and argh! HE just seemed so sad to be bound to Galby. I actually heard there is gonna be a book 4 AND 5 cause CP couldn't finish the series in just one more book

Really? I heard that the fifth book was a prequel... If he writes a fifth book in the main saga, I WILL shoot him. He's dragged on long enough. The only reason to write a fifth at this point would be for money...

Haha! No kidding. But I wouldn't put it past him. I want him to do something different though, cause I'm curious what else he could come up with. Now that he's got a little experiance under his belt he should do a new series or something.

Not black, just darker than Eragon's. I also based it off the book, not the movie (in the movie, Murtagh's hair is black.)
