Description
My first piece of art after returning from my contract in Europe! I saw this movie a lot over the summer and I grew to like it. Maybe you know it?It's Flushed Away! The movie had some pretty likeable characters so I had to do this. The slugs stole the show half of the time.
Let me know how you like. It's been ages since I've done anything art wise and I rather like this one. Maybe the BG is a bit "loud" but it'd have a lot of negative space without it.

Good ol' Aardman. I think their works were what initially drove my love of practical effects in film; seeing what they can do with a lot of time, patience and Plasticene is simply inspiring, especially in a field dominated by unimpressive CGI. There's just an innate charm to claymation that you don't get from computer-generated stop motion.
Excellent work once again, and thanks for providing a chance to stroll down Memory Lane. I need to rewatch some of Aardman's earlier works sometime.
