Never pay full admission for anything. Β There's always a coupon somewhere.

how do moms do it? no matter the rest of their body they end up with hulk hogan arms. a mom friend of mine is tiny but has those body builder biceps.
i guess it makes up for all the horrible things babies do to their bodies.Β

It's the carrying. Β Some of those baby carrier things, too, are super heavy. Β I found, though, sadly that lugging my kid around did nothing for my flabby man arms. Β And honestly, I did a lot of lugging. Β I think babies are just light enough that they don't qualify as a hard muscle-building workout for men, but DO for women. Β Or something like that.

It was a Flash t-shirt initially, but I swapped the colors to make it cooler.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That guy really does need to man up. Although, she is a redhead...

Mommy's little kettlebell is a phrase that has just entered my vocabulary.

I thought it was a good phrase. Β Though a number of my readers asked 'What's a kettle bell?' Β I mean, I'm the LEAST athletic person around, but boy. Β Some people.

I used to hide in floor-level cupboards *all the time* as a kid. (And then I'd forget where I was, and try to stand up.)

I actually doubt a grown man could fit down there, but he needed to for the joke, so reality bent to accommodate.Β

Charging admission to the gun show?
Wow... she really IS turning into Lou Ferrigno!

I heard it's $20 for an autograph. Β Mind you, I heard Shawn Michaels charges $75, so I guess that's a good price...

One of the rules at Comic Con, is you aren't allowed to charge for autographs unless you have a paid booth, and you are ESPECIALLY not allowed to charge for autographs in the Pro-Lounge...
So, I think it was my second Comic Con, and my bodyguard "Mongo" saw him in the pro-lounge. Well, Mongo was a HUGE fan! Not just the Hulk, but he knew EVERYTHING Lou Ferrigno had ever done... so I encouraged him to go say hello. Now, that year, Ferrigno didn't have a booth, and was (against the rules) signing autographs for $20 outside the con with a cardboard sign... so Mongo and Lou talked, and Mongo gushed about what a big fan he was, and started mentioning his movies and the like, and finally Lou offered to sign tyhe back of his Comic Con badge... Mongo was excited, until Ferrigno says "$20... "
That was when I saw what people were talking about with his reputation...

I miss the baby sling days. My back used to feel awesome after walking around with a baby strapped onto my chest all day. Well, not all day, cuz that would be weird abuse, but you know. It feels like all day.Β

ElectricGecko In reply to yowassup [2016-08-25 10:47:38 +0000 UTC]
My back did not feel awesome after that. Β It felt ... broken.

yowassup In reply to ElectricGecko [2016-08-26 02:06:36 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. Maybe I'm weird. I have a back condition, and my back feels stiff a lot of the time. But after carrying a baby for hours in a frontal sling, my back would always feel incredibly good. Something to do with having weight at the front of my body or something. Maybe I should bust out the old sling and put a bowling ball in it or something. But yeah, I guess most people would feel pain afterwards...Β

ElectricGecko In reply to yowassup [2016-08-26 03:14:21 +0000 UTC]
I do NOT suffer back pain regularly, so yeah. Β Baby sling equals problems, for some reason.
