This piece took roughly 70 hours to complete.

When I clicked on the "High-res Megaman X speed art" link on reddit, I didn't really have any high expectations but holy shit, this is completely insane. You have some truly mad skills and changed my concept about what can be achieved on Photoshop.

Thanks. Yeah it was a battle between the CPU working overtime and the hard-drive running out of space a lot. I found a balance though and it worked out. But at one time Photoshop was using 150 gigs of my HD space and I only have a 200gb hd. I had to flatten some smart objects to keep working.

haha yeah i can imagine, ive been doing some GUI in photoshop for a game and its quite taxing once you hit a few hundred layers even with an SSD.
