Description I HAVE JOINED THE DIGITAL AGE.

Sorry for the shouting. Corel Painter 11 arrived yesterday. I dove in with two hands today and colored this dragon, which is an Ancient ball point pen doodle from... uh... 2004? Yikes.

Still fond of it though and it was a perfect experimental subject.

I used the 'Watercolors' option. It's a complete mess. The colors are random and pretty terrible. But it was soooooooooooo much fun. I know I could fix it if I took the time... but Mostly I wanted to play and share my mess with you!

I love it. I love coloring digitally. It's like magic. I think people take it for granted. Oopsies, didn't mean to do that? *Undo* Hmmm I wanted a blue dragon...no make it GREEN. Two. Clicks. Magic. It's fricking Magic do you people realize this?

Oky, seriously. I'm fine. Don't call anyone in white coats.

And Don't worry, still a traditional artist at heart. But for coloring, enhancing and effects...this is amazing. So much fun.

I need to get OFF the computer now.

Oh good heavens no O_O It's just poor grammar. I meant I did this piece in the watercolors option in Painter XD There will be plenty of watercolor in my future.

No, I had a lot of fun with the last watercolor Scene so that's probably what I'll work on next. Thanks for the um...wet fish support o_O Tough love, and all that

I love playing with Photoshop. Hmmm that's not the right shade of blue. Adjustments > hue > BINGO!

I chose Corel over Adobe in the end but I imagine they're pretty darn similar.
