I have same problem - my epic ideas not usually look so epic when I put them on a paper...
But thanks for the tip, maybe if I am able to visualize expressions in my head well enough my hand is willing to co-operate also and something similar will end up on a paper.
Oh and you classic style is far from boring! But I am glad you have found also this cartoonish style; it is always cool to see when you tell stories with you pictures.
