Cubling Newstar. When I was a kid, I loved Newstar. I wanted to BE Newstar. (And a mermaid, for that matter. And a cat. Which probably makes me quite weird).I know her skin tones and hair are way to colourful for a night scene, but oh well..I went for cartoon-ism more than for realism

You know, I think that the skin tones and hair color for night fit.. only because Newstar was just so bright and sweet and the way she was drawn was almost as if she was like the sun, regardless of where she was : )

I love how you took her back to her roots in this picture. She became more Sun Folk than Wolfrider in the end, which isn't a bad thing, but still. I would have loved to see how she would have turned out as a real hardcore Wolfrider. Loooove it

You're not weird. I wanted to be Moonshade AND Nightfall when I was little. (And a mermaid, for that matter. And a horse. Which doesn't make me weird in the slightest. It's my genetic insanity that makes me weird.)

BEAUTIFUL! I love pics of cubling Newstar. My favorite is that one of her from the graphic novel, when they first get stuck out of the Tunnel of Golden Light, when she's looking up and back at Rainsong. Yours is so soft and sweet.
