#59 FWM Bloody Cauldron ridden by Madison Caseno in Western Trail at

The tractor had plowed through the outdoor dirt arena previously before the trail class started and evened out all the dirt before the course designer placed out the poles. It was predicted that the weather would stay steady and the it had proved to be true so far. Madison had tacked up her new quarter horse stallion, Blue and was warming him up over some practice poles with Evalyn, who was riding Sienna. Madison jogged Blue towards to raised poles and at just the right moment, he sped up and trotted over them but did tap with his back hoof. She gave him a tap with her spurs and bumped the reins to get his attention. She repeated the jogged overs and then stopped him.

Evalyn jogged Sienna over and stopped. "Six horses have already gone. We should probably go by the arena and watch and then right before the last two before us go, lets wake them up a little and go over some poles again."

"Sounds good!" Madison rode with Evalyn to the arena and watched some trail horses go. Horses and riders entered the arena and were flying through the course quick and clean. She was started to get nervous watching these amazing horses and riders doing trail so effortless and hoped her go would be just as great.

"Okay lets go back and jog some more." Madison couldn't believe how fast time had gone by. She jogged Blue over and went over some poles before they had to go back to the main show arena once more.

Number fifty-six was in the middle of its go so Madison waited just outside of the arena entrance before her turn. As soon as the horse and rider exited, the announcer said "Next is number fifty-nine, FWM Bloody Cauldron ridden by Madison Caseno." She walked Blue in and stopped right before the bridge. Madison looked at the judge, who nodded, and then leaned forward to start the course. Blue leaned his neck forward, beautifully acknowledging the bridge and stepped on. Blue was going for the blue.
