Description (2007) 6" x 8" Pencil on paper.

Just a study of a black blouse made from crushed silk that I've had for a while. Gotta keep my texturing limber. I'd also like to dedicate this to 'Cissa from DH. Loved the way she kept her wits together and her menfolk alive...

Thanks so much! So many things to feature - so little space...

Your gorgeous, you should play Narcissa! NOT Helen McCory. She looks like Lucius Mother or worse his grandmother. Her hair is to be blond not like a skunk as well....

Thank you and yeah, not my favorite casting choice for the movie, either, especially since it's not that terribly hard to find someone blond and good-looking who looks a few years younger than Lucius... Shame really!

I like your Cissa so much more than the one they cast in HBP. I don't know what that two tone hair is about.... so *non-pureblood* looking of her.

I realized looking at this that you are obviously a Malfoy : P The family resemblance is clear. So say hi to ole' Lucius for us peasants. : )

Loved it, it's beautiful.

Ellygator In reply to Magialuna [2009-06-01 13:46:42 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! And yeah, movie Narcissa is not quite my type. She looks kind of old and somewhat coarse and I do not like her badger hair at all. What do they think she is - Hufflepuff?!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Magialuna In reply to Ellygator [2009-06-03 12:38:46 +0000 UTC]

(hugs)

I laughed SO hard. Can you imagine??? A Malfoy marrying a HUFFLEPUFF? What WOULD the neighbors say? That's far worse than slash!! *shudders* That Malfoy boy was better off with that Severus fellow until he took up with that.... HUFFLEPUFF... ROFLMAO

She's pretty, the hair is skanky. Maybe Jason should have had input on her costume too. They had his all wrong till he told them how to dress Malfoy. Too bad he was in Azkaban while they dressed his wife.

Yeah, Jason really "got" Lucius, I am sure he would have had fab costume ideas for Narcissa as well!

Very beautiful! I will never really be able to see Narcissa as looking like anyone other than you! It'll be so odd to see her in one of the HP films!
Of course, beautiful texturing and model!

Beautiful portrait and love the way you did her hair, even though it's black and white there is no doubt that it's blond

Thank you! I am thinking I probably took about 6 hours over this one. I'm glad the silk came out in such a recognizable texture.

I think her neck may be a little too taut, but then again, I have seen some women with manly necks... lol.
You did a fantastic job on the thing you were focused mostly on, that being the crushed silk blouse. Transendent dahling.

Another spoiler! '
But what am I to do, can't help it!...
(and did she actually manage to do that??? - don't tell, don't tell! - Now is she a wonderful woman or what!... )

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Ellygator In reply to ElenaTria [2007-08-06 13:02:51 +0000 UTC]

Well, you know how they say: "No animals were harmed in the making of this movie..." Well, unfortunately I quite can say that for the Malfoys, but it does not come to the worst, which is good news, and that's all I can tell you.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

ElenaTria In reply to Ellygator [2007-08-06 13:29:24 +0000 UTC]

Ha ha ha!!! Animals indeed! (the beast within, grawrrrr!!!...)
Why "unfortunately"? Aren't you satisfied with the outcome? (well, I do hope they're not disgraced or disabled or anything) OK, if you can't answer without spoiling it (although I know you can), don't. But I do like innuendos. Your choice.
