Thank you! I started imagining her and drawing her before the movies and I have to agree I was a little disappointed by the casting as well as the hair style they gave Narcissa. I had also imagined her sister Bellatrix to look quite different (when I picture her she looks more like Claudia Black than Helena Bonham-Carter). I think those were the only two casting choices where my own reading of the books differed very much from what they ended up filming.

Thank you, like yourself I love the actress, but I just pictured Narcissa with long flowing white blonde hair.

Well done, this is much better than the figure in the movie.
I absolutely adore her <3<3

It's exactly how I imagined Narcissa when I read the book. The version of the movie is so disappointing.
Your work is amazing.

Thank you! I am very happy you love my version of the character. I also had a totally different image in my head when I was reading about her...

This is lovely. I agree that the movie Narcissa is a real disappointment. She should be this coolly, patrician and blonde and beautiful. I think you've captured the true Narcissa.

Thanks so much, me too. I am watching the Tudors at the moment and am again reminded how much I would have loved to see Joely Richardson as Narcissa.

that's exactly the way I saw her when I first read "The Half Blood Pince"... just don't understand why the hell she's not blonde on the movie!

Yup, JKR was pretty specific about her straight, long, blond hair. I don't like the Cruella Deville movie-look...

Sorcière indeed, as well as a great Narcissa and a very "Mucha" one as well. I prefer your Narcissa, she meets my imagination of the book character best.

LOL! No duo-tone hair here. Why would they do that? She's not a Hufflepuff, and it wasn't in the book. I guess they already wanted to put that look on Lucius, but had no luck, so whatever wig dwarf had the original "brilliant" idea finally got their way.

I know! Siblings CAN have different hair colors, she doesn't have to match Bella. Plus it makes her look like Jason Isaac's mother, not wife.
