Description (2017), 9" x 1.5". Size 11 Delica seedbeads (light bronze DB 506, light gold DB34, dark metallic blue DB4), 6mm Swarovski aquamarine trillion crystals, fireline

I've already done several variants of the geometric delica bead pattern by Jane Power (www.etsy.com/shop/JeanPower ). The little modular triangles, which are made in a combination of Herringbone and Peyote stitch lend themselves to a lot of different arrangements: assemble them as pentagons and you can shape them into little spheres, a configuration in a hexagon gets them to lie flat so they can be assembled as necklaces and bracelets.

For this bracelet I framed small aquamarine trillion crystals in bronze and light gold and picked up on the vibrant blues in the darker blue metallic shades of the background beads.

I agree! I just wish it was easier to get a hold of the Swarovski triangles, but I think they are being phased out and you can only get them as vintage...

There are some newer types around that I found, but the sizes were too large and/ or they had holes. I just couldn't find any online store that offered them. I found my supply on ebay and Etsy where individuals were selling some left-over stashes...

We have several bead-stores around Dallas where I live, though three of the ones I used to go to closed in the last few years. I always have to ration my visits, because I come home with bags of beads and my monthly pay-check mysteriously vanished!

hahahaha oh yes i dream that sometimes! hahahahaha
i only have 1 beadstore close by, but i buy most stuff online because the prices in shops are ridiculous in comparison... and i have to try to stay in europe for all my needs because import tax is ridiculous for overseas shipments. it's such a buzzkill caus a lot of things are not available or not untill much later. so i can never really compete with the latest trends n all. or make it for the same prices.. it's good i have a style of my own. beadwork is hard work to copy. so at least my designs (the ones i care about) aren't stolen

Thank you! I just wish Swarovski was still producing these triangles. Instead it takes some searching for sellers who have leftover stashes to offer...
