Thank you! In fact textile designs are a huge inspiration for my bead patterns...

Basic in the literal sense perhaps, but this looks so complicated to get that weaving so perfect. And nice color combination too. (I still think you need wild nailpolish to match your projects!)

Thanks so much! I am glad you like it. It's pretty bold because of the colors, but I think having holes in the lattice design gives it a little lightness as well.
Also, how could you guess? I love nothing better in the summer than to paint my toenails in electric blues, crazy greens or even a whole rainbow of colors all at once! I have to leave my fingers bare, since I can't really take that to my clients, but I can hide my toes in shoes in the office... Once it's free time I'm just barefoot or in sandals/ flipflops!

How strange to see something so geometric from you! The colors are fantastic, and I really like that you kept the bracelet edge patterned instead of a straight line. That, along with the pattern of the diamonds, suggests a basket-weave texture that's really appealing and organic.

Thanks so much! I occasionally wax geometric, as my Shoowa series of bracelets based off of African textiles can attest. This one was fascinating to me, because it had the feel of a knotwork pattern plus the openings that make the whole thing feel less dense and adds a bit of lightness to the very severe pattern.

Thank you! I enjoyed the over-and-under effect. And yeah, I should buy some of the smoky Fireline for darker pieces. It's just it stains your fingers after you work with it for a while...

Oh wow! Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to try it. In fact I've had issues with my ripple bracelets where the beads chafed through the thread and broke it because they are at an angle in Ndebele. Anything more reliable would be really welcome!

Thank you! I guess I've been doing Peyote for so long, it sometimes feels like it when I go back to the technique.
