I bought a tutorial from a lampwork lady who's specialty was producing what she calls glass "Storms" in her dots.I always LOVELOVELOVeD her work.
So, now I know how!
This bead is also a hollow, and it's HUGE.
Check out how much the ivory went all crackled and fumed!

Put it in a 20 page booklet with step by step pictures and sell it for 15 or 20 dollars.

It kind of bothers me that such information isn't freely given - as if it's some sort of secret method or something or someone's patented it (which they haven't).
I've always been of the opinion that cool glass techniques should be shared freely in order to help everyone learn new things and evolve their skills. After all, I think that if someone follows my creation methods and creates one of my beads and then takes it to the next level, then that can only lead to even better glass pieces. If I didn't share my methods, they'd have never been able to build upon what I've learned.
Plus, I may make some beads, get the skills down, and then never make any more of them - moving on instead to something else. So if I'm not going to make any more, why shouldn't other people be able to? Anyways, just my own thoughts on the matter.
Maybe I'm old-fashioned.
